1881 Two Identities
Min Yu glanced at Zhuo Yun. “What about other flight routes?”
“Other flight routes?” Zhuo Yun froze briefly, then his eyes lit up. He raised his hand to slap his forehead. “How could I forget about the Huo family? They have private flight routes as well.”
An application had to be made to use those private flight routes. Once clearance was given, they could use them. Also, these flight routes were outside of government and commercial jurisdiction.
Since the Huo family already had connections in shipping, it could get approved quickly if they wanted to use it.
“I’ll call Miss Huo now,” said Zhuo Yun, taking out his phone.
Before long, Huo Yao answered the phone.
Zhuo Yun quickly told her about the situation, “… Now, we need to use the Huo family’s special flight route.”
Huo Yao did not expect Prof Min’s plane to lose connection. She frowned and said, “Give me a few minutes to get back to you.”
“Okay. Thanks, Miss Huo.” Zhuo Yun nodded.
“Uh huh,” acknowledged Huo Yao. Before hanging up the phone, she asked, “Did your boss get my text message?”
Hearing this, Zhuo Yun automatically looked at his boss. “He’s busy. Maybe he missed it.”
“Okay.” Huo Yao did not ask further and hung up the phone.
Min Yu noticed Zhuo Yun looking at him. “What?”
Zhuo Yun removed the phone from his ear and said, “Miss Huo asked if you’ve received her text message. She was probably looking for you.”
Hearing this, Min Yu recalled hearing his phone beep earlier. He took out his phone and saw Huo Yao’s text message mentioning that King was Chairman Sheng. Something changed about his expression.
Two files could be seen in his mailbox, so he tapped on them and read them.
“What did Miss Huo want?” Zhuo Yun detected a subtle change in the boss’ expression, so he could not help asking.
Min Yu was still reading the files. After he was done, he raised his head. “Chairman Sheng has another identity.”
“Huh?” Zhuo Yun was puzzled. “What other identity?”
“King from Mirage Base.” Min Yu narrowed his deep eyes while holding the phone.
Zhuo Yun’s eyes constricted. It was clearly shocking news. “How can that be? How could he be King?”
He did not pay much attention to Sheng Ying. Owing to Prof Min, he had seen Chairman Sheng a couple of times previously many years ago. Also, Sheng Ying was hardly in the Archaeology Association in the capital, so they knew even less about him.
He had zero interaction with King, so he knew even less about him. He simply knew about King’s existence.
If they were the same man, then what was he doing in the capital? As the Archaeology Association’s chairman no less?
Lots of questions emerged in Zhuo Yun’s mind, but something quickly dawned on him. He asked, “Do you think Chairman Sheng has something to do with the plane losing connection?”
After all, they had just blown up Mirage Base’s mountain gate the other day. If they did a proper investigation, the base might know it was them.
Min Yu looked deeply at Zhuo Yun. “I certainly hope it has nothing to do with him.”
Zhuo Yun’s eyelids twitched. He suddenly did not know what to say.
It was a private plane armed with their own men. Unless it was some kind of common flight incident, it would not lose connection.
There was probably more to this incident then.
At this moment, Zhuo Yun’s phone rang, interrupting the silence in the cabin.
Huo Yao had called him.
