“Who are you?” She asked in a soft voice, her eyes scanning the strikingly handsome man. Under the influence of alcohol, Gu Chuyan reached to touch his face.
Unfortunately, before her hand could reach his face, he forcefully shoved her. Her body rebounded from the sudden force and once again fell towards him.
As she fell towards the man, Gu Chuyan cried out, her hand clutching her head.
“Damn!” The man seethed angrily, hauling her off him.
Gu Chuyan was tired and had been ready for a quick nap. To be harshly woken was a violation of her sleepy peace.
“What’s the issue?” She asked, upset.
She was unsteady on her feet when he hoisted her up. Just as he was about to toss her away, she faltered and fell onto him, causing both to collapse onto the row of seats across from them.
Gu Chuyan’s sparkling eyes met his, his heated breath tickling her face. The dim car light cast an intimate atmosphere…
“Who knew such handsome men existed?” she mutters, swallowing hard. Boldly, she crawled onto him, her drunken gaze fixed on his face.
“Hiss.” Xiao Mohan groaned in distaste.
“Damn woman, dare to misbehave again and see what happens,” Xiao Mohan threatened.
But at that moment, this woman was daring to get closer to him!
Gu Chuyan was frustrated. Her expensive dress was being tugged and crumpled – an excruciating sight for her!
“Ah,” she gasped, but before she could comprehend anything, she was hauled up.
Xiao Mohan sat back in his seat, forcefully pushing her out of the car. The car door swung open with a “clack”.
Han Changqing turned around just in time to see something coming at him and instinctively blocked it.
Gu Chuyan, pushed by Han Changqing, tumbled into Xiao Mohan’s embrace, her little face hurting from the impact.
Han Changqing stared ahead in surprise. Upon closer inspection, he exclaimed, “Good gracious! Isn’t that a woman? And why is she in young master’s arms?”
“Ehem, sir, do carry on,” Han Changqing coughed awkwardly, looking away.
“Get her off me!” barked Xiao Mohan, his voice a magnetically terrifying growl.
“Yes,” answered Han Changqing, moving to hold Gu Chuyan, but failed to do so.
He noticed that her tiny hand clung onto Xiao Mohan’s arm; she looked so peacefully asleep.
A woman…fell into his arms…and slept…soundly?
“Sir, do you think there’s something wrong with this woman? Nobody in S City knows you’re back.” Han Changqing said, exasperated and scratching his head.
Xiao Mohan said nothing, a chilling aura seeping from him; enough to make anyone shiver in fear.
