Killing a King
Blood dyed the front of his clothes red, and his chest felt stuffy. The Immortal Mountain’s middle-aged man’s pupils rapidly shrunk in disbelief. Right now, his entire body was ice-cold, and he couldn’t hide the shock in his heart!
They hadn’t even truly taken action, yet he was already suppressed by the other party’s aura and coughed out large mouthfuls of blood. His opponent was still a teenager! How could he have this type of cultivation? How shocking was that?!
“You…” He couldn’t say anything. He immediately understood that when he was fighting the Nine-Headed Lion, the formless sword energy that cut off his arm was released by the youth in front of him.
Shi Hao descended, restraining the powerful aura.
“It really is Shi Hao. He’s stunning beyond compare. Even a Formation Arrangement Realm king was injured by him!” Everyone was shocked.
After a year and a half, Shi Hao reappeared in this world, triggering a huge commotion. All of the cultivators in the manor rushed over, creating an uproar.
“This is a physical domain and the embodiment of a precious body’s power to the extreme. Whoever resists it will undoubtedly lose!” An old king said, his voice trembling slightly. It was because this was too inconceivable. This body refinement accomplishment that only appeared in legends was actually displayed in such a young person.
Everyone was in an uproar. Then, they recalled Shi Hao’s performance in the battle between the two brothers. Back then, he was known to be comparable to the Vajra Unbreakable Body. It wasn’t fake after all.
“No wonder…” The middle-aged man from the Immortal Mountain backed up. He wiped away the blood at the corners of his lips, feeling a wave of lingering fear. That explained everything.
The Black Cloud Race’s elder was displeased, and mist appeared. He was frustrated. Because he wasn’t sure if that was Shi Hao, he tried to grab the teenager right away. He never expected that the teenager would violently shatter his palm.
“Once Shi Hao appears, who can contend against him? No one in his generation is his match. Right now, only these senior figures can keep him in check.” The people of the wasteland region said softly.
They were extremely excited because, during this period of time, the creatures from outside this region were too high-profile. They looked down on everyone from the wasteland region, making them feel resentful.
“You are Shi Hao?” An elder from the Immortal Mountain walked out. His expression was calm, but there was a strange light that flickered within his eyes.
One of Immortal Mountain’s middle-aged man’s arms was cut off, and he secretly went to seize the holy artifact. Meanwhile, this elder also followed him. He was clearly a formidable expert.
Shi Hao vaguely sensed that the group of people who resided on Immortal Mountain might have some blood relations with him, and they could be his mother’s clansmen.
He calmly looked at the elder and nodded. “It’s me.”
“It really is him! He really is ridiculously powerful!”
“Well, many people want to challenge him, but now that he has appeared, how many people dare do that?”
The creatures of outer regions discussed among themselves. Many of them had never personally witnessed that battle, and today was the first time they saw Shi Hao.
“What a young hero. I’m impressed. Even in Immortal Mountain, it is difficult to find someone comparable to you.” The elder nodded.
Everyone was astonished. The elder was praising Shi Hao’s natural talents, but at the same time, he was extremely arrogant. He believed that Immortal Mountain would still be able to find one or two people of the same age that was as powerful as Shi Yi. This left everyone shaken.
Having one Shi Hao in a region was already unprecedented. Even if Immortal Mountain could overlook all regions, they couldn’t have a few people like Shi Hao in every generation, right?
When the middle-aged man with the broken arm heard the elder mention Immortal Mountain’s astonishing genius, he became a bit arrogant. He said in a low voice, “Immortal Mountain is never weaker than others. My clan’s heavenly geniuses can look down on any genius!”
Everyone was even more shocked. Just how confident was he? Was that Immortal Mountain’s heavenly genius really this powerful?
Shi Hao didn’t say anything but only frowned slightly. Now that his identity was confirmed, Immortal Mountain still treated him like this. Something wasn’t quite right.
Didn’t these people know that they might be related by blood? Shi Hao narrowed his eyes, sweeping his gaze over Immortal Mountain’s two individuals.
The elder’s eyes flickered with radiance, also staring at him. He seemed to have sensed something and realized what Shi Hao was thinking about. He smiled mildly and said, “You are excellent. You may have a connection with my clan.”
“May I ask how I should address you?” Shi Hao asked. His spiritual senses were extremely sharp, but he didn’t feel any intimacy from the elder. Even though the elder’s smile was extremely benevolent, there was some killing intent that was difficult for normal people to detect.
What did he want? The elder might know that the two sides were related by blood, but he still had such killing intent. It was a bit hard to explain, leaving Shi Hao confused.
“I’m Qin Shoucheng,” said the elder from the Immortal Mountain, his smile becoming more and more amiable.
Shi Hao sensed that the killing intent became a bit thicker. Normal people couldn’t sense it, and he was only relying on his sharp intuition.
“Young man, your killing intent is too great. When others don’t agree with you, you’ll use weapons against them. That’s not nice,” Qin Shoucheng said. He pointed at the middle-aged man with the broken arm and then looked at the elder from the Black Cloud Race who had lost a palm. “Cultivation isn’t easy, so how can you injure others so carelessly?”
“I am a person who doesn’t want to stir up trouble, but if others want to take my life, I’m not scared,” Shi Hao said indifferently.
Everyone shivered inwardly. Was the Immortal Mountain going to make things difficult? If such a colossus wanted to go after a single person, even an undying deity couldn’t stop them, let alone a supreme youth!
There were undying experts in the mountain who didn’t fear deities!
The elder’s words expressed his dissatisfaction, sending a message to everyone. The Immortal Mountain didn’t like this youth, which made many of the cultivators who bore hostility against Shi Hao feel more confident.
“Let me ask you one more time. You are the one who killed my clan’s genius in the Fire Nation’s ancestral land, right?” An elder from the Flame Python Race walked up. His eyes erupted with radiance, and below his waist was a fiery red snake body that was as thick as a bucket.
“Correct!” Shi Hao replied.
“You killed my clan’s pure-blooded descendant, so you’ll pay with your life!” The elder said. His head of scarlet hair surged with fiery light, and the lower half of his snake body also flickered with scarlet multicolored light. He quickly moved over like a snake.
“Aren’t you going to ask me why I killed him?” Shi Hao frowned.
“There is no need!” The Flame Python Race’s elder said with a gloomy face.
“How domineering!” Shi Hao looked at him coldly. The other party was unreasonable and powerful. Since the man had jumped out first, if he took action, She Hao wouldn’t be at his mercy.
“I don’t care who you are. A supreme youth means nothing. You killed my clan’s pure-blooded descendant, so you can only pay with your life!” The Flame Python Race’s elder said.
In everyone’s eyes, this was no longer domineering. The elder was looking down on the wasteland region. Was he going to kill Shi Hao just like that? If it was in another great region, would he dare to do this? He had to think twice!
After all, this was the wasteland region’s most stunning youth. Under normal circumstances, who would dare act so recklessly? Wouldn’t they fear the retaliation of this region?
“Old man, you just entered the wasteland region, right?” Shi Hao asked. He felt like the other party might not necessarily understand his accomplishments.
“So what if I am? After killing my clan’s people, even if you are the wasteland region’s most stunning youngster, it still won’t do. You can only die!” The elder was incomparably domineering. The lower half of the snake body which was as thick as a bucket flickered with a scarlet light, and with a smack, it struck the ground, creating terrifying cracks.
At this moment, he took action. He didn’t approach Shi Hao because he had learned his lesson. Shi Hao’s physical body was too powerful and was able to form a domain. Normal king-level figures wouldn’t be able to stop him. With a shake of his hand, he produced four formation flags, surrounding Shi Hao. A hazy mist immediately formed, and symbols covered everything densely like stars.
At the same time, he quickly formed imprints and activated precious techniques, while releasing streak after streak of divine light into that killing formation. These movements were done in one go. He was fast and ferocious, wishing to suppress and kill Shi Hao as soon as possible.
Everyone was shaken. Even though the Flame Python Race’s elder was domineering, his methods were truly extraordinary. With a raise of his hand, he released a great killing move that was difficult to defend against.
Clouds and mists roiled. Four formation banners fluttered about, producing four images, sealing up that small world. Tens of thousands of streaks of lightning erupted, and the void seemed to be annihilating.
Everyone sucked in a cold breath of air. This old fella was too vicious. These weren’t ordinary magical artifacts. Those four great banners were most likely refined by supreme experts. Many people felt pity for Shi Hao. He was too careless to be trapped inside. It was inevitable that he would be melted by the formation.
“Do you think that I was being frivolous? I’m not just empty words! I’m killing the so-called wasteland region’s most heroic youth!” The Flame Python Race elder said.
Everyone was astonished. They finally understood that this elder was purposely acting insolently to let everyone’s guards done, but when the battle started, he immediately used his greatest trump card. How shameless.
Ten minutes later, scarlet light surged within the Four Symbols Great Formation as if blood was splashing. Then, that place became more and more peaceful, the mist no longer swirling about.
The Flame Python Race’s elder sneered and said, “I admit that you are extremely talented and a stunning genius. However, if you don’t grow up, you’ll still be an ant in the end.”
With a whoosh, he put away the formation banners. Mist scattered, and he laughed coldly.
However, his expression suddenly froze. A large hand reached out from within the mist, grabbed his neck, and dragged him over.
Everyone was shaken, all of them crying out in alarm.
On the battlefield, a youth stood there without moving an inch. There wasn’t a single injury on his body.
Shi Hao grabbed the elder’s neck and looked down coldly. If he hadn’t advanced to the Formation Arrangement Realm, he would have definitely melted. This old man was also ruthless and had used his trump card right away.
Whoosh!
A streak of blood rushed out. Shi Hao cut off the elder’s head without hesitation. Then, he put away the body of an enormous flame python, which was the elder’s original form.
Even though it wasn’t pure-blooded, it was still a precious medicine. After all, it had cultivated to the king level.
The experts were all speechless. His movements were so fast and skillful. He must have done such things quite a few times. The creatures from outside this region shivered inwardly.
“We are carnivores. We love to eat delicious food the most.” The big red bird appeared and flew to Shi Hao’s shoulder. It looked down in all directions.
A Formation Arrangement Realm’s king was killed just like that. The experts were stupefied. This was like a fantasy!
“He’s so powerful! I can’t believe it!” Everyone was so shocked that they found it difficult to say anything else.
A commotion broke out outside the crowd. A few creatures squeezed their way in, all of them cultivators from the Immortal Mountain. Among them was a purple-haired youth who was full of killing intent as he stared at Shi Hao. His gaze was full of resentment, as well as a type of hatred that was engraved in his bones.
Shi Hao remained silent, not paying them any attention.
“That’s a young master from the Immortal Mountain, rumored to be the descendant of some great figure,” someone said softly, triggering a discussion.
Several days ago, Shi Hao slapped this purple-haired youth, teaching him a lesson. Not only did his teeth fall out, but even his chin was almost half-ruined.
Shi Hao calmly looked at the group of people from the Immortal Mountain. He really wanted to ask them about his parents. He wanted to understand the relationship between him and the Immortal Mountain.
