1013 The Meeting
Mu Jinghang thought he was being laughed at. His face turned dark and he went in to take the child.
Mu Jianguo retreated, “What are you doing?!”
Mu Jianguo thought about it and agreed. After all, his son had a stupid mouth and may very likely ruin things.
Unwillingly, he handed over the child and asked, “Try to come back as soon as possible.”
Mu Jinghang took over the child, “Alright.”
With his son, they drove to the Qi family. There, they found Sang Wu in the living room.
Other than Sang Wu, Jun Yexuan, his wife, and their children, some of the Qi brothers were around as well.
When Sang Wu saw Mu Jinghang, she shouted angrily, “It really was you who kidnapped my child!”
Kidnap?!
Mu Jinghang laughed. Since she wasn’t going to tell the truth, he will play along, “I took away our child? Have you done what you are supposed to do as a mother?! At a place dangerous like the airport, you left our son there alone?! Once you discovered your son was gone, instead of looking for him, you came here?! What would’ve happened if our son ran into a human trafficker instead of me?!”
If Mu Jianguo was here, he would’ve punched him. It was obvious that she was simply trying to defuse the tension and he didn’t cooperate.
Sang Wu got angry as expected. After his speech, she coldly snickered, “You think Ling is like you?! Though his IQ is lower because of you, it’s still above 200. He’s only capable of giving others a hard time. He, himself never gets the short end of the stick. Even if he does run into a real kidnapper, the kidnapper would be the one getting hurt.”
“Ah… This kid is that beast?”
“She said his IQ is lowered because of his father? Ahahahah, that’s hilarious because it’s true!”
The Qi brothers started to laugh.
Mu Jinghang was being called stupid in front of so many people, which turned his face green.
The couple was about to fight again so Qiao Qing walked out to stop this. She knelt down before Mu Ling and smiled, “You’re Sang Ling, right?”
Qiao Qing was like a different person after having kids. Especially towards children, she continued to exude maternal instincts.
Mu Jinghang said, “Call him Mu Ling from now on.”
Sang Wu stared at him, “He’s my son! You changed his last name?! Have you asked for my permission?!”
Mu Jinghang yelled back, “It’s only right that the boy is named after his father. Why do I need your permission?!”
Sang Wu, “You!”
“Bastard!” Mu Jianguo’s voice came from the door before he dashed in and grabbed Mu Jinghang by the ear, “I asked you to come and pick up Sang Wu and this is how you do it?! You want to infuriate me to death?!”
“Ah! AHHH! Dad! It hurts! Stop!”
Mu Jinghang plied Mu Jianguo’s hand away as his lips stretched out in pain.
“If it doesn’t hurt, you won’t remember what you did!” Mu Jianguo said, “Thank god I got worried and followed you. You’re so unreliable! Sang Wu is going to leave you again!”
“Ah, dad! Ah I got it! I was wrong, okay?! Stop! Stop! My ear’s about to fall off!”
He truly should go take a DNA test as he heavily suspected that he wasn’t related by blood to this old man.
The interaction between them made everyone in the room laugh.
