Chapter 83: Public Mockery

In the safe area where the command tower was located, Zhong Li came to Wang Hao with a bitter face after Wang Hao parked the mecha wolf.
“What’s wrong?” asked Wang Hao curiously.
“You don’t know what’s wrong?” Zhong Li glared at Wang Hao angrily. “You conspired with prisoners in the test and poisoned more than two million students. Even a spaceship was lost. You would’ve been severely punished, but since your performance was remarkable, you are only being asked to compensate for the spaceship.”
“Are you saying that I’m to blame for the explosion of the spaceship?” Wang Hao pointed at himself innocently.
Zhong Li nodded his head helplessly.
“Are you serious?” Wang Hao found it hard to believe. He sneered and said, “It was them who made the rules and gave Xi Rongxuan the spaceship. Why am I to blame?”
“Who else do you think can be blamed?” Zhong Li glared at Wang Hao and said, “You’ve crossed the line by working with unpardonable prisoners. You should be happy that nobody is arresting you!”
Wang Hao snorted and said, “I don’t have any money with me. Besides, even if they sell me, it’s not going to be enough to cover a spaceship.”
Zhong Li rolled his eyes. Wang Hao was truly as shameless as ever, but he was wrong this time. The headmasters did not intend to let him pay in cash, but with the 2,700,000 points that he had.
“Don’t be too relieved yet. The headmasters have stated that the 2,700,000 points you earned in the screening test will be confiscated as compensation.” Zhong Li looked at Wang Hao sympathetically.
“What?” Wang Hao cried. Was it a joke? Had the points he acquired through all the trouble been looted?
“Just get it over with. Remember not to do things that are not allowed again.” Zhong Li patted Wang Hao’s shoulder and sighed.
His work was in vain, too. He had thought that he could save Wang Hao’s points, which could be transformed into contribution points later. However, it was impossible after Wang Hao made such a huge mistake.
“You want to confiscate my points? Not a chance. I’m going to make you pay it back with interest!” Wang Hao snorted and left. He planned to take a good rest before he got back at them.
…
In the command tower, the four headmasters laughed in amusement as they looked at Wang Hao in the video.
“He’s still not giving up. How interesting!” Hua Zixu stroked his beard and laughed.
“I’m very interested in finding out what Wang Hao can possibly do right now.” Wang Kunlun was amused, too. For people as powerful as them, few things could catch their attention.
Their lives were fun now that they’d discovered an interesting lad named Wang Hao.
“Though he is the polar opposite of Tianyi, he is as indomitable as his father.” Wu Tianlun remembered Wang Tianyi as he watched Wang Hao in the video.
His unflinching eyes and his determination to defeat everything moved them.
Although Su Mu was Wang Tianyi’s master, the rest of them had also taught Wang Tianyi a lot of things. It pained them when Wang Tianyi uncannily went missing.
They were now more or less consoled to see Wang Hao.
“Hey, you’ve watched his performance, and the screening test is over. It’s time to go back.” Su Mu banished his guests. He knew exactly what they were thinking.
They must be hoping to secretly get in touch with Wang Hao and teach him a thing or two, so that they could be Wang Hao’s nominal masters.
Su Mu was determined to not let it happen.
Years ago, when he recruited Wang Tianyi as his disciple, the three of them did exactly the same and taught Wang Tianyi a couple of skills.
Then, whenever Wang Tianyi used the skills, they would tell everybody that he learned the skills from them, leaving other people the impression that Wang Tianyi was their disciple.
Su Mu was more than infuriated after he learned that. Those three were too shameless.
Also, considering Wang Hao’s hypocrisy, he certainly wouldn’t refuse to learn under them. There was no telling how he would be affected.
To prevent it from happening, Su Mu would never allow Wang Hao to get in touch with them.
“Old Su, it’s not decent of you. You tricked us and are kicking us away. You will be despised by everyone!” Hua Zixu jumped out and criticized Su Mu.
“That’s right. We’re here to watch Wang Hao, not because of you. Don’t flatter yourself.” Wang Kunlun looked at him in disdain.
“Wang Hao is Tianyi’s son, and as Tianyi’s master, I should greet his son, shouldn’t I?” said Wu Tianlun solemnly.
Su Mu scorned at them one by one. They were truly shameless.
Were they not scared of public mockery when they tried to steal his disciple?
Also, Wang Hao’s fate was already fixed now that the four of them had given an order. He did not need more attention at all.
Wu Tianlun even shamelessly called himself Wang Tianyi’s master. Did he think that Su Mu was dead already?
“Get out of here!” Su Mu burst into fury.
However, the headmasters peeped at Su Mu and continued what they were doing, showing no interest in Su Mu at all.
…
At this moment, Wang Hao returned to his room.
The moment he passed the door, the System’s voice echoed in his head. 〈〈Ding-dong. The host has helped others escape from prison. Reward: 20,000,000 Villain Points.〉〉
“Escape from prison? Twenty million Villain Points?” Wang Hao was stunned for a long time.
It baffled him how Xi Rongxuan escaped under the pursuit of so many soldiers.
What also confused Wang Hao was the generosity of the reward for getting Xi Rongxuan out of prison.
〈〈System reminder: The prison on Ganda is an advanced one, so the host has been rewarded with more points for getting someone out of it.〉〉
“An advanced one?” Wang Hao frowned for a moment but was still puzzled. “Forget it. Everything will be fine as long as I have points.”
Thinking about that, Wang Hao shut the door quickly, ready to consume the points.
…
In the command tower, the four headmasters were grim.
A prisoner who was only a Martial Master had escaped under their supervision. It was a slap in their faces!
“Whatever it takes, find him and execute him immediately.” Wu Tianlun snorted.
“Yes, sir…”
Everybody else wiped their sweat and accepted the mission…
